Halal Certification Label in the UK

I emptied a box of Rice Krispies Multi Grain Shapes Cereal into my bowl for breakfast. I was about to throw away the box when the word Halal in Arabic caught my attention…

I never knew there was a Halal Certification Label on groceries in the UK! I went over to the pantry and checked the other boxes of cereals and there it was, the Halal Certification Label on Coco Pops, Kellog’s Corn Flakes, Kellog’s Frosties… the whole lot!

Now i am itching to go and search all the groceries on the shelves in the nearest supermarket to check if they have the same certification… I am not sure if all Halal food items are obliged to put on this label or not, nonetheless this is a very considerate move indeed!
