Cirque Du Soleil and the Xcite Offer…

When i saw the ad for Cirque Du Soleil coming to perform in Q8 i coldn’t believe my eyes. How is that even possible? How are they going to come and perform in Q8… land of the forbidden? For gods sake we can’t even watch a movie let alone watch a bunch of acrobats in tight fitting and revealing clothing performing live… the sky will fall upon our heads and our eyes will burn from the sight -i am being sarcastic-

Anyways i couldn’t believe it… the ability to actually march into Xcite and buy a couple of tickets to watch a worthy international show in Q8? WOW! Clearly something is missing from the equation. I mean why hasn’t anyone made a scene about it yet? Who cares… as long as it’s possible…

But apparently it is not going to be like that. Apparently in order to get a couple of tickets you must buy something from Xcite Alghanim worth KD 200 and you will get a couple of tickets for free!!! Why? Beats me! I don’t need any electronics right now… i don’t want to buy any electronics but i do want to watch the show! What about all these people who do not care for the CDS coming to town? What would they do with their free tickets? Keep them at home?

Can’t we pay 200 KD and not get something electronic we don’t need to clutter our homes? and on second thought… 200 KD for a couple of tickets that are not even special is not very promising. I would rather pay 200 KD and go to Dubai and stay over there to watch the CDS rather than buy something i don’t need from here and get a ticket amongst god knows how many tickets given away and then have to fight my way to find a decent seat. Thank you very much.

I knew it was too good to be true!!! Such a pity… that’s all i could say 😦

Actually I was there today with my friend and we checked with them after surfing with a philipeno seller it turn out that u can buy the ticket ..40 Kd for the VIP and 25kd for normal seats ….the scary thing that they said that the seats are15000 person per day and it’s in the internment city in Doha ….just emagine all these people in one place !!!! And also better to buy it cause some of the people who going to get the tickets for free and not interested in going will sell them like for 50kd in the day of event like what happened with them in Nancy Ajram party :o.

The only way to be able to make sure is to go to the Xcite and ask them in person i am afraid. They don’t usually answer their phone.

I will compose a list for good information sources on Kuwait and i will email it to you.

strongly i did not recomend the attendance of the show tomorrow 26/11/2010 it is the worst arrangment ( open area and it is dusty and little cold you can see the performance only in the screens even VIP cant see good visual of the performance.

dont wait your money like we did , most of the people today 25/11/10 left early before the other show starts.
