BBQ Night with Bu Abdulla’s BBQ…

The BBQ season has officially started… why aren’t you having a BBQ this weekend?!

BBQ night came and it was a blast with the service of Bu Abdulla’s BBQ.  A big thank you goes for all the commenters on my previous post for helping us choose the BBQ service. I will let the pictures tell the story…

Their service was fast and clean. The food comes covered and when the Kebabs were made they were also covered with foil until BBQ time. Setting the coals on flame took about 45 minutes. The portions were perfect for the number of guests. There were Kebabs, Sheesh 6awoo2, Kofta or Sho2af whatever they are called. Kastaleta (the bone thing with one bite of meat on top), and Meat & Cheese Arayes. Bu Abdulla’s BBQ provided platters of Hommous & Muttabal for an extra charge. The rest of the food spread was outsourced 🙂

There were also bags of burgers and buns and cheese and the BBQ men happily grilled them into juicy cheese burgers. There are no pictures of the food after being grilled or of the rest of the food spread and that is because  the moment something was off the grill and taken to the table it was gone instantly. There was simply no time to take any pictures of any kind. I do have pictures of leftovers but thats just about it! It was that good!

The whole grilling process took around 2 hours from start to finish. The moment they are done grilling they will quietly pack up and leave swiftly. Highly recommended for your next BBQ. Becareful for there is another Abu Abdulla’s copy cat on the loose. If you want this Abu Abdulla’s call the number on his card shown above which is 99675644.

Mashallah, it looks really nice, and even the veggies look attractive. We don’t have such nice barbecue companies in Jeddah : ( even the old favorites started cutting back on quality. Yesterday I was going to a Mystery Theater dinner. They are rare but I have been to enough theater productions to know the food is decent but very bland. I was planning to skip lunch completely but my cook surprised me with satay and I ate enough to nearly cause coma, istaghfirallah. I can’t resist freshly barbecued food.

Oh don’t worry when you call them they recommend how many kilos to order and the rest of the food like salads and side dishes and desserts you can supply on your own 😀
