Book Review: Last Night at Chateau Marmont

I picked up the latest novel of Lauren Weisberger, the author of “The Devil Wears Prada”, while i was on a recent trip to the UK and i have just strated reading it this week…

My expectations were not very hight. I loved the Devil Wears Prada very much but the two novels that followed afterwarsd were OK. Just OK. I thought i wanted something new to read by an author who writes well and something light and refreshing for those late nights when i can’t sleep or to kill waiting time. So i got the latest novel she wrote “Last Night at Chateau

and i am not done with it yet. You know the kind of novel you read but you don’t want to read too fast because you do not want it to end? This is one novel that fits the description! I want to read it from back to back in one go… i want to bring it to work and to outings with me… but i don’t want to at the same time because i don’t want it to end and then i will be left with nothing to read… you know how it goes?

Highly recommended. It is good… not Devil Wears Prada good… but very close! For more about the book here is the link from Amazon.com

I think the chateau was much better than chasing harry winston
but everyone worth knowing i didn’t read it… after reading chasing harry winstron i was put off her writing for a bit but then with the chateau the interest has sparked back …
