Su7oor Time in Q8?

When do you usually have Su7oor? If you have it at all?

No really… if we eat futoor at 6… when would be an appropriate time to eat the last meal of the day? At least 12 am mo?

y3ni 12 am 1 am 2 am are all reasonable and valid timings for Su7oor meal DURING ramadan mo?

Why is it then that at 1 AM we pass by Johnny Rockets Marina Crescent… only to find the parking lot empty and most of the restaurants closed already? Why is it that when we went to Jabriya Co-Op for Burger King we found the parking lot also empty and Kentucky’s door blocked with a chair?

La seriously when do they expect people to have su7oor? 11? 12? if they want to eat it later they would have to have a take away y3ni wella shino

Shino hal model b3d? Min meta il ma6a3em itsaker 12:30 in Ramadan? Is it a new thing wella shino?

    2pm we have our suhoor… and it is what we normally have for breakfast on normal days… cereals, milk, scrambled eggs french toast…ya3ni….everyday something different.
    We don’t go out much…although planning to eat out this week 😉

    I have my su7oor at 3:30 am and then wait till al fajer at 4, pray then sleep!
    its the best time!
    For food we usually have sandwiches.. and the same food we usually have in breakfast..oh and if we have food left from fu6oor we’d have that too, or order take away but we don’t eat it til 3:30!! 😀

    eat out for su7oor is annoying! nothing opens late at night!!

    su7oor means nightmare to me since I am in charge of over seeing the preparation of the su7oor table…we usually have a little over 40 people every freakin night of ramadhan in our diwaniya…for instance today I had to wake up early in order to make it to the fish auction and I bought shrimps,calamry,crabs,negareer,hawameer and sheem….salads ?? we have to have at least 4 different salads so I bought the veggies too….desserts? I had to make arrangements with 2 different shops to prepare the desserts let alone the ones made at our house….and the worst thing is having to deal with our spoiled good for nothing cook and giving him instructions……urghhhhhhhhhhh

    ermudhan = nightmare

  9. During Ramadan we usually eat home cooked meals for futoor and suhoor – usually ya3ni. I think a lot of people are this way too…. so its a restaurants’ dead season!
