Breakfast @ Work from Salad Boutique…!

dndbkfst2 I recieved a message from Salad Boutique on Facebook announcing that they have began serving breakfast. One of our friends at work is having a long extended leave which means we had to have a good wholesome breakfast in honor of her vacation 😀

Salad Boutique it was!

We ordered it… 1 hour later it arrived. We ordered the Q8y Breakfast and the Arabian Breakfast and it was more than enough for a group of hungry girls. It was good but a little bit cold. The darabeel are AMAZING!

Picture time. Bad Quality i know that’s BB camera for you…

The boxes were wrapped up nicely as usual

The bread is also nicely wrapped... and the new and improved menu!

The platters are covered with plastic so they don't spill and get ruined...

The Arabian Breakfast: Potatoes & Eggplants, Falafel & Tahini, Fool, Labna, Greens and Pickles

We made tiny little falafel sandwiches witht he veggies, tahini, and bread...

Potatoes were good with skin on, but quite cold!

Pickles for pickle lovers, and olives. We needed more veggies though 😦

The Kuwaiti Breakfast: Balalee6, Nakhi, Bajela, Eggs, and Darabeel!

The nakhi was good! Not hard like canned ones, and not as mushy as Co-Op bought one...!

The balalee6. Not my fav q8y dish but it was fine. A little cold and sticky but if u have a microwave it would be good!

The balalee6 eggs... cut into diamond strips... also good but very cold 😦

El darabeel 3jeeba! They come with what looks like Nestle's condenced milk... but when you dip a darboola into it and bite it... hhhhhhaaaaammmmmm

When are you ordering?!

    hope you enjoyed it 🙂
I`m surprised to hear that Salad Boutique DOES actually deliver!!
I ordered from them last week… but after 1.40 minutes of waiting I had to cancel the order… when I asked why they delivery took that long the “supervisor” told me something like” we cannot cope with the delivery service”! well thank you mr.supervisor, I wish you told me before wasting my time!

I do not recomment that place, they simply don`t deliver food and they are not sorry about it 🙂

  2. Bel3afyah!

I’d assume that because they named themselves “Salad Boutique” they’d offer a healthier food alternative. One example would be grilling the potatoes and eggplant. Their food looks very greasy. Just a thought…
