After a long day shopping in my fav. UK department store, there is nothing better than sitting in the Yellow Cafe @ the Basement of Selfridges to have some afternoon Tea!
It is a quiet haven amidst the jumble of shoppers. You get to watch passers by yet you hear the piano clicking away to soothing tunes… and you are smack in the middle of the floor!
I love their cucumber cream cheese sandwich and i must have it with earl gray! If only i had a plane out of here now :’)
oh and butootee likes their lemon meringue pie but always likes to steal my sandwiches

It is no longer yellow,
I was there last week and it is called “Widow Twankey’s Cafe”.
I love that place. Its colorful, with red and turqouise tables, and gold chair.
